Rise and shine early as there is a lot to do. If you want action and adventure then there are a few choices to be made as to try out everything on offer, I’m afraid that a long weekend just isn’t enough. Don’t worry, you can always come back!

If you can operate on not much sleep then don’t miss out on the local nightlife and if you are a night owl then don’t worry as there is usually a party kicking off somewhere. However if partying isn’t your thing or those legs just need to recover, then get to bed early to save your energy for tomorrow’s adventure.
Meet Luis from Mountain Spirit early in the morning to load you up in his minibus full of wetsuits and ropes for an unforgettable day of canyoning in the Rio Verde canyon between here and the coast. The drive itself will be memorable as it winds around the mountains through a tropical valley. The canyoning trip will involve waterfalls, big jumps and repels through emerald green waters lush with vegetagion and tropical flowers.
If you haven’t had enough fun by lunchtime, then this afternoon try a new adventure. You have had land, water and now need some air..go tandem paragliding with Romain from Andaventur. You will meet in Cenes de la Vega, 10 minutes from Guejar and from there take a ride to the nearby take-off. Depending on the weather, you will take off and soar the pines below, or on a good day, get a bird’s eye view of the Sierra Nevada as you thermal high above the mountains. Don’t forget to look back at Guejar and the lake and take-in the spectacular setting of this little village.
You still haven’t had the chance to hike the trails further back in the valley or go scrambling accross the north faces of the highest peaks in the Sierra Nevada.
